SQL Server

SQL Server Health Assessment

A bounded review of the instance you already run. You get findings and a priority, not a commitment to rebuild the platform.

What the assessment looks at

Recovery

Backup chain, where the files live, and whether a restore has been tested.

Performance

Waits, obvious plan problems and the jobs or queries people already complain about.

Security

Privileged logins, how the application connects, and encryption that is missing or unrestorable.

Version

Support dates, including SQL Server 2016, which left extended support in July 2026.

Availability

What happens if this server fails, and whether that design has been failed over.

Operations

Jobs that fail quietly, disk growth, and who is expected to notice.

You receive findings, the risk if nothing changes, and a suggested order of work. A managed DBA agreement or a migration comes after you have read it. Ongoing care is SQL Server DBA services.
