The useful work is usually at the boundary: a screen that times out because of a query, an integration that writes bad data, or a Web Forms application nobody wants to rewrite. We work in ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, C# and SQL Server, with REST APIs where systems need to talk to each other.
Data access stays parameterized. Secrets stay out of source code. Authentication and authorization are designed for the application, including ASP.NET Identity, Microsoft Entra ID and OAuth where the environment already uses them.
